I urge you to vote NO on this proposed regulation. We have way too
many people unemployed now. This bill will make it more expensive
for the public to maintain their vehicles than it already is. It
puts the responsibility on the owners of small businesses in
California yet exempts many shops that do repair work on autos.
Lets keep the Auto Body Repair Shops in your bill. They do many
major repairs to vehicles including tire replacements. Lets put
service stations into this bill. Where do automobiles spend more
time than at a service station. Many servicew stations sell and
repair tires. Now we have shops that sell ONLY used tires. Make
them comply with your bill. Until you level the playing field for
all places that work on automobile tires and service automobile
tires, you have a very arbitrary bill that forces only SOME shops
to comply with your bill! VOTE NO ON THIS BILL!!
