Is this what we have come to as a state?  We need a bunch of
"better-than-thou" hacks to force us to inflate our tires? 
California has a $20 Billion deficit, productive people are leaving
the state in droves, and this is what you are worried about?  I
can't believe I even have to write this email.

I am all for unflating your tires, and for not wasting resources
in general.  But the draconian ways that you propose to force this
open us is just sickening.  This is the least free state in the
nation, and that is directly a result of nannies like you.  Do us
all a favor and resign so we can save your 6-figure salaries and
spend it on something that actually helps this state, or better
yet, give it back to the overtaxed citizens
