| Comment | Dear California Air Resources Board, Plug In Hybrids not only clean the air, they also help slow global warming and break our addiction to oil, while fostering innovation and creating good, green jobs here in California. There are many new, mission-based companies trying to do the right thing for California by offering various conversion technologies. While CARB is right in requiring confirmation on the efficacy of these 'conversions', the cost will be excessive for most providers under the current rules. Please consider increasing the Tier 1 vehicle limit to 100 vehicles, supporting the advent of acceptable and certified plug-in vehicles. |
