Comment | I must admit that I do not know much about this proposition to regulate PHEV or about the EV industry (what little there is of it). What I do know is that for petroleum energy sources to be able to transition to other sources, in this case electric, should not be stymied without very careful consideration of all its potential effects. Are these new regulations in the best interests of the public? From what I have read I am not so sure. All I ask is that we consider whether these regulations 'promote and protect public health, welfare and ecological resources through the effective and efficient reduction of air pollutants while recognizing and considering the effects on the economy of the state'. Again, from what I have read I am not so sure. I will be graduating San Diego State University this year and I would like to be able to contribute to the EV movement, but not as a lawyer or politician just trying to cut through the red-tape. Nothing against lawyers or politicians; well, not all of them. Respectfully, John Rosselli |
