Subject | Exaust Retrofit |
Comment | To require retrofits on equipment owned and used every day by contractors that are making money with the equipment is one thing. To require small contractors that have one or two pieces of equipment has the potential of forcing them out of business depending on the cost of the retrofit. Farmers that use their equipment for their own use will find it difficult to pay the cost of the retrofit. To require homeowners that have few acres and have a tractor or generator that is seldom used and have no way to recoop the mmoney spent for the retrofit is wrong. Trying to clean up our air is important, but there should be some consideration for who ownes the equipment and what is it used for. Equipment owned by individuals, that is seldom used for their own use should be excluded from the requirements. Thank you for considering my comments. |
