| Comment | I have been in business for ten years. I have 3 ten wheel dump trucks, 2 of which i am still making payments on and will do so for two more years.( if im lucky).The newest one being a 1999 year model motor with 240,000 original miles. junk according to you guys! you want me to replace it! hell i have not even finished paying for it yet. prior to 2008 i averaged about 20,000 miles a year per truck. last year 2009 i went 6000, 9000, and 11,000 per truck and my revenue has declined from being a small profit business to being a no profit business. i am only hanging on because i had a small savings account, available credit, health insurance, and now that those are all gone I just hope and pray everyday that i will have a job for tomorrow and nothing breaks on any of my trucks if i am lucky enough to work. so having said all that, please delay or scrap the on road rule until things get better in this state of ours. thank you. |
