Comment | I am very pleased to see the ARB is considering extending red sticker riding seasons for two of my very favorite riding areas within the state of California. Specifically, they are the Oceano Dunes SVRA, and the Corral Canyon OHV area within the Descanso Ranger District of the Cleveland National Forest. I feel the present riding seasons are way too short and the proposed season is a compromise that I could live with. I do not see the value in trying to regulate evaporative emissions from Off HIghway vehicles, it seems to be such a miniscule percentage compared to other fuel-intensive industries and recreational activites, such as auto racing and normal, everyday automobile fueling. Thank you for taking the time to review my comments. Sincerely, John R. Janke Dedicated Off-Road Enthusiast |
