Future Car Congress - June 2002

The Future Car Congress is going to be held in Arlington, Virginia, June 3 -5, 2002. This event is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Council for Automotive Research. It is administered by the Society of Automotive Engineers and ESD, the Engineering Society and dedicated to addressing issues involved in the development of automotive technologies aimed at dramatically reducing the world's transportation energy consumption and minimizing vehicle emissions.

Dr. Alan Lloyd has agreed to participate on the Executive Committee for the Future Car Congress. The upcoming 2002 Future Car Congress promises to captivate the automotive and energy communities with three days of technical sessions; cutting-edge exhibits and vehicle displays; dynamic panels with officials from government, industry, and academia, worldwide. There will be opportunities to test drive the latest state-of-the-art vehicles.
