The International Climate Champions Program

We know that half of the world's population is younger than 24 and will, along with millions of other people, be affected in some way by climate change if we do not find effective solutions and act now. We are also aware that many young people are concerned about climate change, particularly the impacts it is already having and will have in the future, and want to do something about it.

In Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, South Africa and the United Kingdom there are Climate Champions programs to help give young people a voice so that we can all help shape a better future.
The California Climate Champions Program is a part of this international effort that we hope will grow, encouraging other young people across the state as well as the rest of the country to get involved.
