Staff will provide the Board with the fourth update (June 1994; February 1995; September 1995) on the status of Cleaner Burning Gasoline implementation efforts. |
| 95-13-2 | Public Hearing to Consider Amendments to the California Cleaner
Burning Gasoline (CaRFG) Regulations, including Amendments Regarding the
Downstream Blending of Oxygenates
The staff is proposing changes to the Cleaner Burning Gasoline regulations that would allow gasoline producers to blend oxygenates downstream from the refinery. The staff is also proposing less substantial changes intended to provide compliance flexibility to the gasoline producers. |
| 95-13-3 | Public Hearing to Consider the Adoption of the National Security
Exemption for Military Tactical Vehicles and Equipment
The proposal would align California regulations with the U.S. EPA regulations that exclude and exempt on-road and off-road military tactical vehicles and equipment. It is proposed that the federal provisions for national security exemptions be incorporated by reference. In addition, exemptions from California-only standards would be granted for military vehicles and equipment meeting federal standards. The Department of Defense would submit a list of all such exempted vehicles located in California to the Air Resources Board. |

Program
Staff will update the Board on the progress made to develop a proposal to modify the zero-emission vehicle program in a market oriented manner consistent with clean air goals. |

the Governor and Legislature on State and Federal Air Quality Planning
Processes, as Required by AB 2751 (Statutes of 1994, Chapter 189)
Staff will present a proposed report to the Governor and Legislature comparing State and federal air quality planning processes, as required by AB 2751 (Statutes of 1994, Chapter 189). The report also presents recommendations for aligning the two planning processes. |
